White Rioja is less commonly seen in the US than its famous red counterpart. But this is great. I tasted with the winemaker a few weeks ago and apparently the locals actually drink more of the white than the red.
Notes of spice and yellow fruits are fairly intense but ultimately very compelling.
60% Chardonnay, 40% Viura. Serve cold.
