I am often asked to find a less expensive, but very high quality alternative to some of the established names in Napa Cabernet. Think names like Caymus, Duckhorn, Silver Oak, Robert Foley, and so on and so on.
Well. This is it.
I'm not sure how this hasn't completely sold out by now, except to say that the supplier I buy this from is far more focused on classic European wines, and may not have fully leaned into the brand. Maggie and I don't drink a whole lot of Napa Cab, but this is easily the best value I have run across and we were both pretty floored by the quality.
In a market where very high-quality Napa Cabs sort of start at $80-100 per bottle, this is very much the outlier. There is a very small amount left. I got what I could so if you love Cabernet it would probably be wise to act quickly. I would be shocked if you didn't love this.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Serve cool.
