They still exist!
It's hard not to be a little nostalgic when tasting this wine. It's a lovely little Chianti, of course, and would be fantastic with pasta or pizza. But its traditional packaging, called a fiasco, warms the cockles of my heart.
Finish the bottle and then poof! you have an instant candle holder. Allow the wax to melt down the sides of the bottle as your galley kitchen transforms into an atmospheric Italian bistro.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about just re-watch the spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp. This also has lovely black cherry and raspberry notes and is quite smooth. 100% Sangiovese. Serve cool.
