Named after one of the family’s beloved horses, the wine is 70% Sauvignon Blanc with 30% directly pressed Sangiovese (Sangiovese vinified as a white wine, in other words). Toscana Bianco is far less common than the red versions, and this is a lovely piece of regional Italian winemaking.
Notes of tangerine, almonds, and refreshing acidity make this a very good wine to serve with dinner.
Sauvignon Blanc & Sangiovese (pressed). Serve cold.
