The Albariño grape, grown on the Atlantic coast of Spain, has long been a source of great white wine and this is just a completely delicious example. Tastes like green apple and lemon, very clean and refreshing.
The traditional food pairing for Albariño is shellfish (and that would be lovely), but if you need a wine to drink with sushi, Chinese dishes, or any kind of spicy food- this is the one. Of course it's also a delight to drink on its own.
The bottles themselves are unusual in shape. A magnum of this wine must be as tall as our toddler. 100% Albariño. Serve cold. Is this the best Albariño in the world?
