Italy isn't always my first stop when it comes to white wines, but when it's good it's good. Arneis is good. Pecorino is good. And this Gavi made from the Cortese grape is also quite good, especially for the price. If you're having lighter Italian fare (not red sauce) or cacio e Pepe, carbonara, etc, pastas this would be a good choice. Also white pizza of course. From the Piedmont- my very favorite Italian wine region.
