I'll admit this one is completely new to me. Chateau Le Puy, a well-regarded estate from the Bordeaux village of St.-Emilion produces this wine. That it is biodynamic and a natural wine is the least interesting thing about it.
This wine is probably the best sub-$75 Bordeaux that I have ever tasted. Another retailer foolishly passed on their allocation, and the knowledgeable wine rep I bought this from suggested it to me. I was traveling at the time, but I trust her judgement and I bought the allocation.
My desire to to see Tidewater members drink heavenly bottles is the only thing stopping me from shoving every single bottle I have into our cellar.
If you like Bordeaux or its constituent grape varieties you should try this. 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Serve cool.
