After a series of very small harvests it has been hard to track down quality, affordable Chablis. This is a problem, as I love Chablis more than any other white wine in the world. And I'm not the only one.
Chablis is the greatest argument for the most basic elements of the notion of terroir. You cannot- cannot -make a Chardonnay anywhere else in the world that tastes like Chablis.
This is super classic. Oyster shell, lemon, etc etc. If you like Chablis you'll probably like this. If you are, in fact, eating oysters over Christmas you should definitely have a bottle on hand.
100% Chardonnay. Serve cold.
