This is a lovely, fresh Rhone white made from three of the classic white varieties of the region. It has a floral nose and notes of white peach and almonds on the palate. This is a wine to open and enjoy over the short term.
Well-known wine critic James Suckling gave this a solid 90 point rating, to the extent that that is of interest to you. At only $16 I'm not sure how you can go wrong here.
50% Clairette, 30% Viognier, 20% Roussanne. Serve cold.
