One of the great insider tips in the wine world is to always look at who imports the wines you particularly enjoy. Odds are you'll like the rest of their portfolio as well. San Francisco's Kermit Lynch is perhaps the best known American wine importer, and his seminal book Adventures on the Wine Route is a must read for any serious wine lover. But almost as influential is Neal Rosenthal from New York, and I tend to prefer his wines over Lynch's.
By the way, Rosenthal also imports the zen-like Bagnol Cassis also featured in the Shop.
This is gorgeous. 40% Grenache 40% Syrah 10% Carignan. Serve chilled.
