Petillant-Naturel aka "Pet-Nat" wines are the very oldest way of making sparkling wine. These wines are corked during the first fermentation (unlike Champagne which undergoes a second fermentation in bottle), thus trapping a small amount of CO2 in the bottle. The result is a slightly spritzy wine that is usually somewhat hazy in color.
If you're into pet-nats this will certainly scratch the itch, with notes of apricot and minerals. Very, very refreshing on a warm day.
100% Grenache. Serve cold.
