Like any good Malbec this is juicy and fruity, but maybe owing to the vines being situated at more than 1,000 meters above sea level, this has a freshness and balance to it.
You could easily pay a lot more for a lower quality Malbec. James Suckling gave it 90 points, which for any $18 wine is pretty darn good. Try with grilled sausages or maybe chicken marinated in miso.
100% Malbec. Serve cool.
