Lioco's cult-like Pinots are getting harder and harder to find. Production hovers around 250 cases for each release, and that is the entire supply for the country in any given year.
Lioco's style is true to the vineyard sites they come from rather than a fruit bomb. The Abel Vineyard is located in a cooler part of the Anderson Valley, surrounded by redwoods and within a few miles of the Pacific Ocean. Notes of raspberry, red cherries, mushrooms, and earth are all present. A wine of terroir for sure.
100% Pinot Noir. Serve cool.
