This is the best Italian white I have ever tasted. That may be like saying "the tallest building in Wichita"- but the fact remains this is strikingly beautiful. Verdicchio is probably my favorite Italian white grape, and it is usually charming and food-friendly.
This riserva bottling is an entirely different animal. Truly world-class and one of those "ah-ha" wine moments that only come a few times each year.
100% Verdicchio. Serve cold.
