Be still my beating heart. The greatest wines of the Piedmont are truly at the top of the pile, and the wines of Barolo and, in this case, Barbaresco are the pinnacle. This has everything going for it, and its classic notes of roses, red and black cherries, and smoke are just about everything you could want in a wine from the region. This is also a riserva, and a 2015 to boot, so it's perfectly ready to drink.
Even at $64 this is still a relative value compared to its peers.
100% Nebbiolo. Serve cool.
