These vines are grown way, way up on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, and even though it's a Mediterranean climate, this shows so much freshness. If you've never tasted the truly pretty whites from Sicily, this is about as good as you can do.
This would be equally at home with simple seafood dishes, white pizza, or pasta with olive oil, garlic, and herbs. It's just very, very good in every way. Sort of a gourmand wine.
80% Carricante, 20% Cataratto. Serve cold.
