Vines have been grown on this estate in southern France since at least the 12th century. The Languedoc is a vast and historically wild region that nonetheless has a lot of very fine growers such as Baron Ermengaud.
Lots to love here, with a floral nose and, on the palate, notes of peach, citrus, and ginger. This will probably work with more dishes than are useful to list here. Of course it would also make a nice drink on its own.
As classic as it gets. 60% Grenache, 40% Cinsault. Serve cold.
